Exploring Diversity training

If your team is ready to explore the topic of diversity and you want to make it a topic everyone can relate to, this is the training for you. It will contribute to stronger team engagement, more psychological safety and an inclusive team environment.

  • Becoming aware of the greater scope of diversity (using the Diversity circle)
  • Understanding one’s own diversity in identity
  • Realizing social identities are linked to influence and power and why inclusion is important
  • Address and share benefits, challenges and pitfalls of working in diverse teams

For laying the foundation for D&I understanding within the company or team, we advise to conduct this workshop followed by the Unconscious bias workshop.

Teams of all levels of the organization, HR teams, executive teams

Duration:

Half day or full day training

English or Dutch

Methods:

We use instruction and experience based learning, movie clips, knowledge sharing and peer to peer learning. The theory is based on several social studies regarding social identity, especially the caleidoscopic view on identity and intersectionality.

Online or live:

This training can be conducted online (through Zoom) for max 9 people per group or in a classroom
This training is offered live for 10-12 people in a room provided the Covid-19 measures can be assured.

Blended learning options:

This training can be supported by the online learning platform of Mondiaal Training. On this learning platform participants can view more information, do exercises and do assignments for improved learning results in between training days.
